More people than ever in Georgia are riding bicycles for daily transportation, healthy recreation, or simply to spend time outdoors with their family and friends. Essential workers have relied on bicycles during the COVID-19 pandemic as transit availability and schedules have changed. Plus, many people working from home have had more time to traverse their communities by bicycle, leading to increase in trail usage and demand for more bicycle facilities in cities of all sizes.

Join Safety Committee and Georgia Bikes to learn more about how to meet the needs of people on bicycles by creating bicycle-friendly communities, implementing Complete Streets, and increasing bicycle safety during this unique and challenging time.
